Speedy's Guide to Pixel Art

A number of people have asked me to put together a tutorial on how I make my pixel art, so here it is~ Hopefully this will give you a few of the basics on creating cute little icons ;u; Good luck~

I ran out of room at the end! For step 4, MSPaint users just need to pick lighter and darker tones of each of their base colours and fill them in. Nothing too deathly hard.

As acknowledged, the characters used in the tutorial are R4EV's Junk, ButtGrapes' Frost, Shaymin-chi's commissioned phoenix mascot and also two contest entries of mine; both Cabbage and D'night belong to Griffsnuff .w.

The eraser trick in MSPaint is as follows: using the colour dropper, LEFT click the colour you want to replace, RIGHT click the colour you want to replace it with and then, using the eraser, HOLD RIGHT CLICK and rub out the colour you want to replace. It will only touch that one colour ;D; Use it to recolour lines/base colours and remove the sketch.
